Review of our new demos

Here is a review of the two demos we recently uploaded to our bandcamp.

"These tracks are a great segue into the future of Black Elephant. Instead of giving you an image of the urban fast-paced side of Los Angeles, the 2 new songs project an image of those dreamy California summers, driving down the coast as the sun is setting, joint in your hand with the wind brusing against your face. All this being held together with pop and post-punk aspects."

S.F. Pop fest

This is sort of our first show back from our half year hiatus. Ricardo has never been to San Francisco. I bought the Sea Pony LP at Amoeba, Ive never played with a band whose LP I bought from Amoeba. Being invited to play in another city makes me feel better, like the worlds a bigger, not so cruel place.

P.S. Just recently, Styrofoam Drone posted a review on the new 7" of Philly's Slutever, who I had the pleasure to meet and hang out with after their show at Pehrspace then the next night at Regionalism's show in Whittier at Studio Danza. Very nice girls, very nice music, check them out.

P.S.S. I wrote this entry while in the computer lab at school. The guy next to me stinks.
